💡 About the Company: Pico’s Puppet Palace
Founded in 2016 by Sally Miller and Jesse Hamilton, Pico’s Puppet Palace creates puppet theatre using beautifully crafted puppets, imaginative storytelling, and live music — all centred around reclaimed, recycled, and repurposed materials.
Each episode in the “Pico” series introduces ecological themes through vibrant characters and handmade charm, using puppets crafted from everything from old toys and clothes to metal, wood, and glass. Jesse’s background in mechanics and building gives the puppets intricate moving parts, while Sally’s theatrical performance brings their world to life with warmth, humour, and joy.
Their mission is to inspire curiosity, environmental awareness, and creativity through their shows and workshops, connecting audiences across ages and cultures.
